As a keen sportsman himself, playing rugby for Buckingham Rugby Club, whilst acting as the team’s physiotherapist, Ben’s life revolves around being healthy and he is a keen student of the effects of nutrition on the body. He even married a personal fitness trainer, Louise, in 2011; ensuring that fitness remains very much in the family. They did, however, take some time out to indulge in a spectacular road trip through California and Mexico for their honeymoon (very little rugby out there).

Alongside rugby and general fitness, Ben can often be heard working on some madcap project in his shed or seen wandering off into the distance, taking his dogs for a long and highly energetic walk. Sometimes, if he gets really carried away, the dogs come back even more tired than him. Ben originally trained at the University of Hertfordshire and after four years working for the NHS he finally found his niche as an MSk Specialist Physiotherapist at Pea Green. He also supports the local Akeley Wood School with physiotherapy for their hockey and netball teams; and their rugby tour of Canada. His other accreditations include:

BSc Physio Accredited Acupuncturist AACP Headache and Migraine physiotherapist (Level One) Member of the Health Care Professions Council HCPC and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy MCSP Diploma in Sport Science Mulligan techniques Myofascial release expert Pilates teacher APPI

Hello, I’m Harry and I am a Sports Rehabilitator. My interest in musculoskeletal injuries was ignited after dealing with multiple injuries myself, which created a strong desire to learn and understand how injuries occur alongside the most effective ways to successfully rehabilitate them. I pursued my passion by studying Sports Rehabilitation at St. Mary’s University. I’ve worked with a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries in both clinical and sporting environments and also had the incredibly rewarding experience of rehabilitating spinal cord injury and paralysis patients in a neurorehabilitation clinic. I enjoy the challenge of tailoring treatment methods to each patient, ensuring their rehabilitation journey is individualised towards their sports, lives and athletic ambitions whilst always maintaining a positive experience throughout. Outside of work, I’m either playing football or at the gym, where I like to experiment with different training methods to boost my own athletic abilities and discover new exercises that could benefit my patients. I am excited to join the Pea Green Team where I can develop my own practice whilst supporting and guiding the recovery of my patients to get them better than before!

Dan’s expertise in physiotherapy grew from his lifelong passion for sport. Having been immersed in athletics from a young age, he has always admired individuals who push their bodies and minds in pursuit of their goals. After competing in various sports, from Taekwondo to Basketball, he found his niche in Volleyball. Yet, even as an athlete and coach, it was the work of therapy teams that fascinated him the most, setting him on the path to becoming a Sports Therapist.

After earning his degree from the University of Gloucestershire in 2020, Dan quickly established himself in the private sector, helping clients across Gloucestershire return to the activities they love. Driven to expand his expertise, he pursued a Master’s in Physiotherapy at the University of Birmingham, graduating in 2024. This advanced training equipped him with the clinical tools to address complex rehabilitation needs, blending hands-on therapy with proactive education.

Dan’s approach is shaped by years of experience working with diverse individuals and communities. Whether applying manual therapy and rehab exercises for office workers with chronic pain, conducting biomechanical analysis for runners, or implementing injury prevention strategies for fitness enthusiasts, his goal remains the same: to empower clients with the knowledge to move smarter, recover stronger, and minimise setbacks.

Originally from Brampton, Canada, Dan moved to the UK in 2016 to begin his professional journey. While his primary focus is clinical practice, he continues to share his expertise through part-time coaching at local clubs and university teams. Outside of work, he’s often planning his next bikepacking adventure, tackling rock-climbing routes, or preparing for volleyball tournaments—activities that reinforce his belief in growth, patience, and adaptability.

For Dan, physiotherapy isn’t just about recovery—it’s about unlocking potential, ensuring everyone can keep chasing what drives their passion.
