Her career began with a strong focus on neurorehabilitation, where she specialised in working with patients who had sustained catastrophic injuries and brain injuries. This role allowed her to develop a deep expertise in neurorehabilitation techniques, helping patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Helen has also had the privilege of working in Banff, in the Canadian Rockies, where she treated skiing and cycling injuries and gained valuable experience in sports injury management and post-operative rehabilitation. This diverse experience enabled her to cater to a wide range of rehabilitation needs, from athletes to outdoor enthusiasts.

Her career took a significant turn when she joined a global orthopaedic company, where she trained and supported surgeons in trauma and elective surgeries. This role allowed her to develop an in-depth knowledge of surgical procedures and their impacts, enhancing her ability to provide comprehensive rehabilitation care. Specialising in medical technology, Helen served as the Clinical Lead for the UK for a radiofrequency company, INDIBA (also known as T.E.C.A.R. - Transferencia Eléctrica Capacitiva Resistiva). In this role, she worked with high-performance sports teams, including premiership football clubs, training physiotherapists and advising on rehabilitation protocols, and the rapid resolution of injuries. She developed an effective treatment for non-resolving tendinopathy and created training programs for veterinary applications, helping to launch this treatment for animals, initially with race horses.

Her advanced knowledge in tissue repair has been further enriched by working closely with esteemed professionals such as Professor Tim Watson from the University of Hertfordshire and Dr. Ubeda from the University of Madrid. This collaboration has enabled her to select the best options for successful patient outcomes.

In addition to her rehabilitation work, Helen has extensive experience in pain management, particularly chronic pain. She employs a combination of approaches to manage pain effectively, ensuring a holistic and patient-centred care experience. Currently, Helen serves as the Clinical Lead for BioWave across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East. BioWave is a wearable neuromodulation technology that helps reduce pain. She also works as a consultant to sports professionals utilising technology to advance recovery. Helen is committed to a whole-person approach in her practice, thoroughly assessing posture, movement, and other contributing factors to address the root cause of issues. Her extensive experience and dedication to continuous learning enable her to provide exceptional care and achieve the best possible outcomes for her patients.
